Marching Band Madness - 8th Grade Math

A local university marching band is requesting field formation designs for a contest they are entering. Students will explore similarity, congruence, rotation, reflection, translation, and dilation of two-dimensional shapes as they design marching band field formations. Students will demonstrate their understanding by communicating accountable content through design of multiple field formations and written justification.
