Pricing

Problem-Based Learning cases are offered for sale as bundles by grade level and subject. Skill-specific bundles (such as "Measurement" in Math or "Writing" in ELA) contain two or three cases, and complete grade bands (such as 2nd grade Math) of Math, Science, and English Language Arts contain 15 cases.

Pricing is structured so each case has a price of $15.00. For example, a 2nd Grade Life Science Bundle contains three cases (Principal's Pet Project, Student Author, and Zoo to Do) and sells for $45.00, or $15.00 per case. A 5th Grade Math Bundle contains 15 cases (Backyard Budget, Coat of Shapes, Disney Itinerary, Fraction of a Book, It's a Metric Celebration!, Izza Pizza, Liquid Bonus, Math Bee, Pen Pal Polly, Plane Math, Prize Time, Shape Town, Study Group Referee, Tessellation Renovation, and That's What Friends are For) and sells for $225.00, or $15.00 per case.

Project-Based Learning cases are offered for sale individually (such as "Hole in One" in High School Geometry) and in bundles by grade level and subject (such as 8th grade Math).  Project-Based Learning bundles are offered at a discounted rate and contain three to four cases.

Pricing is structured so each case has a price of $30.00. For example, an 8th grade Math case (Marching Band Madness) can be sold individually for $30.00, or the 8th grade Math bundle can be purchased for a discounted rate of $75.00 for three cases (Marching Band Madness, News Investigative Team, and Rate Trailer).

A list of all available Problem and Project-Based Learning cases is provided on the Case List page.  Case descriptions for each bundle are included in the Store section of our site. Each purchase provides an individual user lifetime permission to use those cases with as many students as he/she chooses. Cases are copyrighted material that cannot be uploaded to a network drive, posted on the Internet, or shared among teachers at a school.

Schools may choose a building license that provides access to all teachers in the building. Licenses for district level purchase are available and priced on a proposal basis.

Testimonial

"Problem Based Learning is a staple in my teaching and you can see pieces of the methodology in almost everything I do. It's not a program or a panacea, but a method of teaching that gives every student valuable life-long skills." - Sam Walker, Technology Facilitator Morgan Elementary, 2010 NC Technology Educator of the Year
